Banana Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1½ cups Bella Grain Homebaking Flour

  • 3 ripe bananas (mashed)

  • ½ cup sugar (adjust to taste)

  • 2 eggs

  • ¼ cup vegetable oil or melted butter

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • ½ tsp salt

  • 1 tsp vanilla essence (optional)

  • ½ tsp cinnamon (optional)


Instructions:

1. Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).

  • Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

2. Mix Wet Ingredients

  • In a bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.

  • Add eggs, sugar, oil (or butter), and vanilla. Mix well.

3. Add Dry Ingredients

  • Sift in Bella Grain flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

  • Gently mix until just combined — avoid over-mixing.

4. Bake

  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.

  • Bake for 45–55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

5. Cool and Serve

  • Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes.

  • Transfer to a wire rack, slice, and enjoy!


Tips:

  • Overripe bananas make the best banana bread — the browner the better!

  • Add chopped nuts or chocolate chips for extra texture and taste.

  • For a healthy twist, reduce the sugar and add honey.
